The old question still remains, Is there really such a thing as ghosts? This article will explore two things: First, our opinion as to why ghosts ARE real!, and second, a look into this age-old mystery and different perspectives on the existence of ghosts.

Yes! Ghosts are Real!

During the last 15 years of my life, I have lost two very special loved ones: My wife and my mother.

There are things about myself that only my wife knew. Also, there are other things that only my mother knew.

Both had their own unique ways of helping me solve problems when they were alive. By problems, I mean decisions having to do with judgement. For example, whenever there were certain decisions I had to make, I would ask the advice of my wife or my mother, depending on the situation.

There have been many moments during the last 15 years when solutions to problems just came to me. These solutions didn't just drop from the sky.

Furthermore, the solutions were a lot like the solutions that my wife or mother would have recommended. So, to sum it up, my wife and mother were there many times during the last 15 years. And here is my opinion:

YES! Ghosts are real! You may not be able to see them, but you will feel their presence!

I usually feel the presence of my wife or my mother during the Summer months. And everytime this happens, is it after I see a butterfly flying close to me.

This is too much of a coincident to be a coincident!

What are Ghosts?

To begin with, the most simple definition. of a ghost is from the Oxford Learner's Dictionaries, and it is as follows:

A ghost is: The spirit of a dead person that a living person believes they can see or hear.

This definition highlights the two key elements of a ghost. It is the spirit or soul of a deceased person and it appears in a visible form to the living.

Lack of Scientific Evidence

Science relies on data and experiments to prove the existence of something. However, when it comes to ghosts, there is no concrete evidence that can be produced in a laboratory. The supposed sightings and encounters with ghosts can often be explained by natural phenomena or human perception.

A Product of Our Imagination

Our minds are powerful and can play tricks on us, especially in times of fear or stress. It is possible that our minds create the illusion of ghosts as a coping mechanism to deal with the unknown or to make sense of unusual occurrences.

On the other hand, there are those who firmly believe in the existence of ghosts. They point to personal experiences and unexplained phenomena as proof of their existence.
