The Law of Karma

There is some truth to the phrase, what goes around, comes around. The Law of Cause and Effect

The concept of What goes around, comes around is rooted in the Law of Cause and Effect.

Here's a simpler way to explain it. You will experience the same kind of things that you have caused other people to experience.

You should always treat people with kindness and respect. If you do, you will find that many times in your life, you will also be treated with kindness and respect.

There is a flip side to this. If you are unkind to people, treat them like dirt, and deliberately try to hurt them, the same thing will happen to you in your life.

How Cause and Effect Works

If someone does something to hurt you, you may be tempted to get even, but Don't do it!.

Revenge is wrong. But there is another reason. The concept, what goes around, comes around does happen.

Eventually, the person who hurt you will get paid back, and you will see it.

However, there is a mystery to this. When you see it happen, it will be so horrible that, it will bother you to see something like this happen to another person. You will feel bad for the person.

Instead of revenge, there is better way to get even with someone who has hurt you - LIVE WELL!

Always conduct yourself with class, and everything will be OK!

Karma and Personal Accountability

Karma means, you reap what you sow. The world has a way of balancing out the scales, rewarding good deeds and punishing bad ones.

This is the key to Karma:

By practicing kindness, generosity, and compassion, you are likely to attract positive energy and experiences into your life.

Conversely, negative actions can lead to negative consequences.

My Real-Life Example

Is what goes around, comes around true? Here is proof that it is very true.

When I was in college, I had a part time job.

I was a musician, a piano player to be exact. During my first two years of college, I played in a band. Unfortunately, by the end of the second year, it began to interfere with my studies.

Being an accounting major, I had to devote full time to my college education, because I wanted to be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Therefore, I quit playing in the band, and tried to do it on friendly terms, but the leader didn't take it very kindly. In fact, he swore if I ever became a CPA, he would destroy me.

Well, several years later, he did just that. I had a very successful accounting practice, but he found a way to put me out of business. He used another person to invent something that would discredit me, and they put out a press release that I was the worst accountant in the Country.

I lost all of my clients, and had to close my practice.

A few years after my business closed, I found out he was suffering with Dementia. Not long after that, I found out his son passed away, and he never knew it. Finally, a few years ago, I stumbled on his obituary online, and read he had passed away.

I admit, I didn't like what he did to me. However, I was not happy to hear about the bad things that happened to him.

The Power of Intention

Your intentions behind your actions play an important role in shaping the outcomes you experience.

If you act with genuine goodwill and sincerity, you are more likely to attract positive outcomes.

On the other hand, if you act with ill intent or malice, you may face unfavorable repercussions.

Conclusion

Always treat people with kindness and respect, even in challenging situations. Be mindful of your words and actions, as they have the power to impact not only others but also yourself.

The saying What goes around, comes around holds a powerful truth that transcends cultures and beliefs. By understanding the connection between our actions and their consequences, we can work towards living a more fulfilling life. Remember, the energy you put out into the world will always find its way back to you. So, why not make it a positive one?
