I've often wondered why most people are afraid to sing in public. Is it the fear of being judged by others? Birds are not ashamed. They sing in public all the time, and no one ever judges them. On the contrary, they make people happy. 🐦🐤🕊I've often wondered why most people are afraid to sing in public. Is it the fear of being judged by others? Birds are not ashamed. Reply by Holly Anders About 23 day(s) ago That's a good question Dixie. I've never thought about it. Perhaps this is natural for them, and not natural for people.
Reply by Bubba Fisher About 23 day(s) ago I once worked in a grocery store with a guy who sang all day while he was doing his job. He wasn't embarrassed. In fact, I enjoyed hearing him sing. He got me to liking some of the songs he was singing.
Reply by Charlie Mundi About 23 day(s) ago I may be giving away my age with this comment. Two of Motown's original Temptations were from my home town, and they used to work at a meat packing house owned by one of my cousins. He told me, several times, when they got off from work, they would go the the nearest street corner where there were a lot of people, and sing for a few hours. That's how they got their start. After a while, they left for Detroit, and the rest is history. No one ever laughed at them, and just think about the happiness they gave people over the years.
Reply by Dixie Rose About 23 day(s) ago If you don't mind my asking, what were their names?
Reply by Charlie Mundi About 23 day(s) ago Of course not! Their names were Paul Williams and Eddie Kendricks. Here's a picture we had taken with Eddie, the afternoon before a performance by the Temptations in our home town. The gentleman on the far left is my cousin, the one they worked for.
Reply by Holly Anders About 23 day(s) ago WOW! Charlie's comment has got me wanting to start singing in public, LOL
Reply by Mae Eisner About 23 day(s) ago Move over Holly. I think I'll join you.
Reply by Kenneth Cole About 23 day(s) ago I sing in the shower all the time. But that's different. There's no one around to hear me, thank goodness, LOL
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't believe Easter is almost here. I seems like Christmas just ended.I hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't believe Easter is almost here. I seems like Christmas just ended.

Reply by Holly Anders About 1 month(s) ago It was very cold for Christmas. Easter will be much warmer, I hope.
Reply by Mae Eisner About 2 month(s) ago I wish someone could come up with another name for the female dog. The present name just doesn't sound right. LOL

This is the 49 story residential tower in #Vancouver, BC, Canada. I saw this online and thought it was made up. So, I had to see for myself. I went to Vancouver from Google Earth, typed in "49 story residential tower", and there it was. Oh yes! It's real! This is the 49 story residential tower in #Vancouver, BC, Canada.
