Cary Grant was the first choice to play James Bond after starring in North by Northwest. However, due to his age, he would only commit to one film. Bond producer Albert Broccoli, a good friend of Grant's, wanted him for five movies and negotiations subsequently fell through. After a few other actors were considered, Sean Connery was eventually cast and the rest is history. Reply by Margie Ola About 1 month(s) ago I remember reading somewhere that the original choice for Bond was David Niven. This was the choice made by the author Ian Fleming when he was writing the first books before any film studio began making any choices.

No body in the world could beat a team like that.Undoubtedly the greatest team ever put together in any sport. They'd take out 5 future hall of famers, and put in 5 more future hall of famers.
