I went to the grocery store yesterday for three things. THREE!

Didn't bother making a list because I figured anybody ought to be able to remember three things.

Got home with three things, but they were not the three things I went there for. While I was in the store, I changed my mind about what I wanted to prepare. 😂

Anybody else ever done that?

I went into Dollar Tree the other day and asked the cashier, "You reckon y'all are ever gonna go back to being a dollar store?" 😂

She laughed.

I told her, "I'm just asking, because I remember when a dollar actually bought something in here!"

At this rate, they're gonna have to change the name to Dollar Tree and a Half! 🤣

Anybody else still call it the dollar store out of habit?

I was thinking about something today.

When I was a kid, if somebody knocked on the front door, everybody got excited to see who it was.

Nowadays, somebody knocks on the door, and everybody in the house gets quiet and pretends nobody's home. 😂

When did we all become fugitives in our own houses? 🚪🤣

Do you ever start watching an old TV show you haven't seen in years and suddenly remember things about it you had completely forgotten?
Sometimes it's not even the show. It's remembering where you were, who you watched it with, or what was going on in your life back then.
Funny how something on television can unlock a memory you didn't even know you still had.
