That show was so bad, it was good. And I'll go to my grave believing it was one of the greatest television shows ever made. 🎹💃🏻🕺🏽

Reply by Kenneth Cole About 4 day(s) ago I've see videos of some of the shows. One thing I remember was, that tap dancer could tear up a dance floor. I can't remember his name.
Reply by Roger Duncan About 4 day(s) ago You're talking about Arthur Duncan.
Reply by Margie Ola About 4 day(s) ago At times the show was kind of corney, but I loved it. It reminded me a little of "Captain Kangaroo". There were acts that made absolutely no sense, but they were good.
Reply by Sammy Cannon About 4 day(s) ago Arthur Duncan! I almost forgot about him That guy had more moves than Milk of Magnesia.
Reply by MaryKate Barton About 4 day(s) ago Mr. Welk was one of the most brilliant men who ever lived. A few of the performers were very good, such as, Bobby Burgess and Bob Ralston. But most of them were not even second rate performers. But Mr. Welk got the very best from all of them. I don't think any other band leader could have done this.
Reply by Jack Robbins About 4 day(s) ago I've seen old reruns of the show on YouTube. The first time I watched on, I thought, "What in the world is this?". But I kept watching, and thought it was pretty cool.
Reply by Mae Eisner About 4 day(s) ago I've watched the show on public television, and on YouTube. The one who got to me was the accordion player, Myron. This guy could bring the house down.
