Why You Still Need a Website if you Sell on Social Media

While social media platforms are excellent for driving traffic and engagement, a website serves as the foundation of your online presence. This will give the user control, flexibility, and long-term growth potential. This is something that social media cannot offer.

That's a good point, Curt. I'd like to start marketing on social media, and have been wondering if I should have a website. I think you just made this decision a lot easier.

One thing I've noticed about SurfSideSafe is their page structure. The way it's set up, it would be a perfect compliment to having your own website.

Here's something else to consider. You don't own your social media profile, at least, in a way where you can make changes to the structure. But you do own your website, and can change it any way you think will benefit your business.

That's a good point, Mandy. It reinforces what Kenneth said about the platform complimenting your website, and no platform does this better than this one.

A social media-only strategy can work for a small number of companies, but not all. This is another good reason to have a website as something to fall back on.
