At the age of 21 he signed with Nike. At age 22, the first Air Jordans were launched, and you know the rest of that story. But did you know that Michael Jordan almost signed with Adidas instead? Adidas turned him down because they thought he was too short. They were looking for a basketball player, but in their minds, a typical basketball player is 7 foot. Sometimes I wonder: If Michael had signed with Adidas, would Tiger Woods have signed with them? Oh, what could been! That's interesting.
