What Happens to Your Data on Most Social Media Platforms?

When you use social media, the apps and websites collect lots of information about you. This includes what you post, what pictures you look at, who you message, where you are, and even what kind of phone you have. They save all this information and then study it to figure out what you like. This helps them show you ads that are made just for you. Sometimes, they also share your information with other companies. Because of this, it's really important to check your privacy settings to control what others can see about you.
Not the case here. SurfSideSafe stores data under tight security, because naturally, it has to be stored to be seem, but that's where it ends. The only thing SurfSideSafe will do with user data is just let it sit in the database, so the other users can read it, and tell you what a great posts you created.

Reading this kind of scares me. This has happened to me many times, and I was at the point that I wanted to give up social media for good. When I found this platform. that all changed.

A few years, I started getting threatening text messages from scammers pretending to be debt collectors. Something in the messages was very similar to something I shared on another platform (I won't say which one). I feel safe here, and I don't think this will happen to me again. But if it does, I know you guys will put a stop to it very fast.
