This is thought provoking. At first glance, I also had to think about it. If all of the cuts are made, number 3 is the only one who will stay on the tree, so I'd say number 3 is the smartest.

Holly, I think I've figured it out. The question, "Who is the dumbest" is the right question. And the answer is, No. 4. If he makes the cut he's trying to make, he will be the only one who falls.
